Idea 39 – Beer Bottle Bus Stop Art Installation

Nice piece of street art, using recylced soft drink bottles to create a bus shelter!

Designed by UK College of Design student Aaron Scales, the project featured green soft drink bottles which are illuminated by LED lights (powered via solar energy panels) that created a unique piece of street art. It was actually turned into a busshelter in Lexington Kentucy, after non-profit volunteer organization Art in Motion decided to sponsor the project (as it turned out street art helped in crease public transit ridership).

Nice one Aaron!
