Effective Branding: Delivering Better Value? Coke and Pepsi’s Attempts to become Healthier

Coca Cola recently introduced Coca-Cola Life and now Diet Pepsi is following with an “Aspartame Free” range of Diet Pepsi variants.

In other words, the battle of Stevia vs Sucralose. An attempt by both beverage giants to address the increasing awareness about the amount of sugar their beverages contain, in dealing with increasing public health concerns.

What do you think? are they adding value? or is it fake?

If anything, an interesting trend and since the biggest players are involved, undoubtedly there will be an effect on the soft drink and beverage industries.
